StarPro Putting Turf is the
finest in the world for outdoor and indoor
putting,
so we use it for all our greens!

StarPro Putting Turf-48 oz. face weight, 90 oz. gross weight per square yard. The 3/4" twisted two-color nylon face is heat set and sheared to 1/2". The durable UV stabilized high density surface is non-directional and putts like a tour green! No need for sand-fill. The two-tone tweed color looks natural summer and winter. The speed is approximately 10 on the stimp meter like a country club green, but can be in-filled to increase the speed of the green to 13. (Factory warranty-8 year outdoors, life-time warranty indoors.

StarPro Putting Turf has a 2 mm rubber base coating under the five layer backing that gives our turf a great golf feel and bridges subsurface irregularities for easy installation and facilitates the creation of breaks (breaks created with 1 cup of sand in a 12"x12" freezer bag). 15' wide rolls - .6 lb. All greens are
available as area rugs (rectangular or kidney
shaped, no holes) and come with five of our
green mobile StarPro cups (SB-1). The area rugs
are cut from our putting turf, 92 oz. two-toned
tweed turf with the hex-rubber nonskid backing.
They are extremely durable and go with any
natural design color palate. The edges blouse
over to create a rounded edge like a finished
rug and they putt just like a real green
(country club speed). You can place the StarPro
cups on the green anywhere to create your own
course – anytime. When you’re not playing, you
have a natural looking incredibly durable area

StarPro Turf Rye 43 oz. 1.4" height is a great value turf known for its density and resiliency. The 1.4" long blades or filaments are fibrillated (divided by raking) for great density. The Rye Grass also has a thick layer of interwoven polypropylene filaments (thatch layer) that supports the blades and keeps them standing erect. StarPro Rye Grass is a great border or rough for our putting turf because its blade height stops the golf ball and the density makes the golf ball sit up nicely for chipping. No mowing, trimming, fertilizing or watering, ever! |
Rye blades are designed to have a tufted rye grass look and UV stabilized to keep that look for years and years. The multi-layer backing has a polyurethane coating that adds resilience and gives our turf extra life. Infill is not required because of the dense thatch layer that hold the blades up, but infilling does add life, weight, cools, softens, supports the blades and is specified for all larger jobs. 1-2 lbs. of silica sand or tire particulate per sq. ft. of turf is recommended. StarPro Centipede Southwest, 43 oz. 1.5" pile height has two different color blades for an incredibly natural color and real look and is UV stabilized to keep it that way. This turf heralds in a new generation of synthetic lawns that really look like real grass. It is amazingly realistic because it combines the old style turfs tried and tested durability with two new innovations: a thick layer of a third interwoven kinked filament or thatch layer of texturized high bulk monofilament to support the blades keeping them standing erect and a two-tone color, spring-green and lawn-green blades of grass combined for a totally natural look. Our best pet turf because: lighter color, shorter pile height, uric acid and UV stabilized, closed cell polyurethane coating on the backing, and increased drain holes. Avoid or limit infilling pet areas (harder to wash waste through). Centipede SW is the best turf for Fluffy or Thunder.

SEAM TAPE - StarPro has 12" wide Seam Tape available for seaming all of StarPro's landscape turfs. Our tape is non-porous, so the glue will not seep through. Use in combination with Liquid Nail Heavy Duty Polyurethane or Liquid Nails Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive found at your local Home Depot store.
