The yarns for all StarPro turfs are UV ray stabilized (color fast) for a long life of beautiful color, and our backing has drain holes and a thick closed cell polyurethane coating that stops weeds and adds strength and life.

Infill of silica sand or tire particulate is not required because of the dense thatch layer that hold the blades up; but infill does add life, weight, cools, softens, supports the blades and is recommended for all larger jobs.
